    This special Friday night game is on Valentine's Day and whether you love or hate it, are single or taken, MSA Woodland is the place to be that night! As a single header, doors will open at 7:00 and the game starts at 7:30. Cheer for GRRD skaters on either the Black or Teal team as they mix it up and face off against each other.

    Between Comedy Central, HBO and Showtime, Dana Gould has six solo stand-up comedy specials to his credit. He has appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Conan," and "Real Time with Bill Maher." As an actor, Dana has had memorable turns on "Seinfeld," "Parks and Rec," and is one of the few actors to play his live-action self on "Family Guy." Despite all this, stand-up remains a focal point of Dana’s career, and he continues to perform regularly across the country. His most recent album, "Mr. Funnyman," is one of the top-rated comedy albums on iTunes.

    Free Fishing Weekend

    Michigan's annual winter Free Fishing Weekend is coming up! And the Michigan DNR has added an extra day this year, Monday the 17th, to coincide with a changeover to a new license sales system. (The DNR asks everyone to note that license sales, both online and in stores, will be unavailable from Saturday, Feb. 15, through noon Tuesday, Feb. 18.) From Saturday, February 15th through Monday, February 17th, residents and non-residents can fish on both inland and Great Lakes' waters for free in Michigan. A license is not required, but the DNR says all other fishing regulations still apply. Throughout the weekend as well, the regular Recreation Passport entry fee that grants vehicle access to Michigan’s 103 state parks and more than 1,300 DNR-managed boating access sites will be waived.

    The 2020 Winterfest will include many of the classics that have made this festival popular.     Firkin Freezeout is one of most unique and favorite parties of the year. It’s an outdoor, all-ages event taking place in the spacious Beer Garden and features over 40 expertly-crafted firkins, special food offerings, live ice carving and more. There’s no cover for this event -- just show up, bundle up, drink up, and live it up! Get there early, as the first twelve firkins tapped will be up for judging to see who makes the best firkin in the cellar. Guests will vote on their favorite with a winner’s ceremony taking place at 3 pm. New this year: a Chili Bar!
