It's another weekend of fairs and festivals. We also have movies, concerts and even a commissioning of a new aircraft carrier.
There are plenty of activities for all ages. No matter where you are in west Michigan there is something to do!

National Baby Food Festival

Cost: Prices vary by eventYou have to travel a little for this one! The National Baby Food Festival features many events and activities for everyone. Don’t miss the Kid's Zone, Community Picnic, Baby Crawl, Free Entertainment, Arts & Crafts Show, Farmers Market, Corporate Olympics, Bed Race, Car Show, Midway and many more events. The Grand Parade is on Saturday. There will also be Frog Jumping, Turtle Racing, Hula Hooping, and Baby Food Eating!

Cost: Prices vary by eventFriday kicks off at 10 am with a Kids Parade followed by Kids Day at Rogers Park. Carnival rides begin at Noon in the Village Parking Lot. Entertainment begins at 4 pm on Friday. Saturday will feature a pancake breakfast, the parade, a beer tent, a run through Sparta and more. Check the website for the complete schedule.

Cost: $5 per person (2 years and over)Even though it's called the Grand Rapids Balloon Festival, this weekend's activities will be in Hudsonville. RE/MAX of Grand Rapids is proud to work with hot air balloon pilots from across the midwest to make the first ever Grand Rapids Balloon Festival a reality to raise money for Children's Miracle Network and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, as well as other local charities. Hot Air Balloons, inflatables, kids carnival games, paintings, dunk tank, arts and craft & vendor booths, food vendors, and more. There is a balloon launch on Friday from 7-8 pm and a Night Glow from 9:30-10 pm. Saturday will feature a balloon fly in from 6:30-8 am with another balloon launch from 7-8 pm and Night Glow from 9-9:30 pm. Remember to bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
