The Grand Rapids Ball Drop is returning to downtown Grand Rapids for New Year’s Eve. If you would like some free general admission tickets our Street Team will be out at different locations this weekend handing out pairs of tickets. On Friday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm you can find them at Pietro’s at 2780 Birchcrest Dr., SE, in Grand Rapids. Pietro’s will be having a special pizza buffet for everyone! It is $8.95 for all you can eat! Stop by and pick up your New Years Eve tickets and have some lunch. Later Friday afternoon from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm the Street Team moved to the Front Lawn of The B.O.B. at Monroe and Fulton. On Saturday the team heads south to Middleville. They will be at Mitten Pizza at 11446 Chief Noonday Rd. in Middleville from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm

He was named one of Variety’s "10 Comics to Watch”. He has also appeared on "Chelsea Lately”, "Conan”, and "Brooklyn 99”. Brent can also be seen starring in David Haskell’s feature film, "The Outdoorsman”.

Bissell Foundation's Empty the Shelters

Cost: $25 Adoption Fee
On Saturday, the Bissell Pet Foundation will help Empty the Shelters by sponsoring adoption fees at over 125 shelters across the U.S. For the reduced fee of $25, you can adopt a furry friend. Participating shelters process adoptions in the same way they would any other day to ensure pets are going to loving homes. Check out their website to find a shelter near you.

Multiple Platinum selling band MercyMe brings their Imagine Nation Tour Grand Rapids on Sunday with Crowder and Micah Tyler. It continues to be a landmark season for the multi-platinum selling MercyMe. A major motion picture based on the life of frontman Bart Millard, who wrote the mega-hit song "I Can Only Imagine" after the loss of his father, opened at a remarkable No. 3 at the box office in March of 2018.
