It’s the last weekend in October. There will be several Halloween Parties around West Michigan. Please be careful if you are out partying this weekend. Along with some Halloween themed events, there are celebrations, Corgis, smashing pumpkins, sporting events, concerts and more.

I didn’t include any of the ongoing Halloween events in this list because we have separate posts for those events. They can be found at:

Some activities include the kids, while others are more for the adults.

Every year, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has National Drug Take Back Day around the country, where you can turn in unused or expired prescription drugs. Gather any pills that you still have in your medicine cabinet and take it to a participating location this Saturday. This event is held so people have a proper way of disposing their drugs, as opposed to flushing it down the toilet or throwing it in the garbage. It’s also to educate and prevent drug addiction and overdose. Since its inception 6 years ago, Drug Take Back Day has taken in more than 8.1 million pounds of prescription drugs!
