The 2018 Grammy Awards will include a tribute to the 58 victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting on Oct. 1 in Las Vegas, Nev. Eric Church, Maren Morris and the Brothers Osborne -- all of whom performed at Route 91 before the shooting took place -- will take the stage during the Grammys ceremony for the special performance.

The AP reported the news of the tribute performance early Thursday (Jan. 18). In addition to Church, Morris and the Brothers Osborne, Little Big Town have also been booked to perform at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

“In all honesty, there’s not a day that goes by since that day that I have not thought of it and thought of the people and the victims,” Church says. “That being our last show of the year, I took it in differently than I have maybe taken in other shows. I savored it. I remember everything about it."

For their performance, Church, Morris and the Brothers Osborne will perform a to-be-announced song; Grammy Awards Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich tells the AP that the chosen song has won a Grammy, and that its lyrics "certainly stood out" among the possibilities.

"We considered a number of songs," Erlich adds. "We wanted something that is universal. We wanted something that spoke to the subject, which certainly this song does."

Both Morris and the Brothers Osborne are nominated for honors at the 2018 Grammy Awards: Morris is up for Best Country Solo Performance, while the Brothers Osborne are in the running for Best Country Duo / Group Performance.

The 60th annual Grammy Awards will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Jan. 28. The televised ceremony will begin at 7:30PM ET on CBS; the pre-telecast Premiere Ceremony will be available to stream online earlier in the evening.
