Whenever I am traveling, I like to see if there are any cool and unusual places to stop and check out. You'd be surprised at the different museums I have found on my journeys. Museums for just about everything -- from Legos, to death, to old radios and TVs, just to name a few.

On a recent trip around Lake Michigan, I found a very cool museum located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The museum is full of nothing but bobbleheads!

The Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum got its start back in 2002 when Brad Novak began getting bobbleheads as a member of the Rockford RiverHawks', a professional baseball team based in Rockford, Illinois.

Over the years Brad, along with his friend Phil Sklar, continue to collect bobbleheads for years, and by 2010 they had over 500 bobbleheads.

In May of 2014, the two came up with the concept to open up a National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. On February 1st, 2019, the Bobblehead Museum opened to the public with over 6,500 unique bobbleheads, exhibits, and a store with merchandise and over 500 bobbleheads for purchase.

Some of the Bobbleheads in the Museum

There are various collections of bobbleheads throughout the museum. They are categorized in sections of the museum. You'll find public figures, sports figures, celebrities, and even cartoon characters.

Here are some photos of the bobbleheads that I saw on my visit...

LOOK: The top holiday toys from the year you were born

With the holiday spirit in the air, it’s the perfect time to dive into the history of iconic holiday gifts. Using national toy archives and data curated by The Strong from 1920 to today, Stacker searched for products that caught hold of the public zeitgeist through novelty, innovation, kitsch, quirk, or simply great timing, and then rocketed to success.
