Ain’t It Grand?: Singer Kane Brown is Michigan’s Newest Sheriff Deputy
Kane Brown is having an incredible year leading into the release of his new album, Different Man, which is being released on September 9th. He recently was the first country singer to preform on the MTV Video Music Awards, has seen multiple number one songs, and he's even releasing a romantic duet with his wife that everyone is already swooning over.
But he's added a new title to his mantle after this weekend, because he can now say he's Kane Brown, Genesee County Sheriff's Deputy.
No, you aren't Drunk or Dreaming like the title of his upcoming tour, The "Like I Love Country Music" singer had the honor of being sworn in recently at the Ally Challenge, which is a charity golf tournament sponsored by McLaren that raises money for the United Way. Held at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club, the four day event is full of golf, food and entertainment. And that entertainment element is what brought Kane Brown to Michigan for his new "role".
On Saturday August 27th Kane preformed, and after he took the stage, he was pulled to the side by Sheriff Christopher R. Swanson, who not only gave Kane Brown the oath, but also handed him own badge.
Will Kane Brown be able to arrest fans at Van Andel on March 13th?
I mean, technically there is a world he could flex his powers within Genesee County, but his honorary powers don't carry over here in Kent County, so don't worry- you're safe if you get a little rowdy. (That's until they call the REAL police)
