The Detroit News reports that although Michigan is ranking high in the Midwest for vaccinations, nationally, the state is not. The report shows that 35 states have administered more vaccine doses than Michigan.

St. Joseph County, Allegan County, and Barry County were all among the eight counties with the lowest vaccination rates in Michigan. Senior citizens are among the highest group to receive the vaccine with 32% of those over 75 getting a first dose.
