As You Might Imagine, the View of Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids from the Rafters is Intimidating – See For Yourself
Certainly one of the most common fears is that of heights. While many will avoid high places or, at least, not look down when then are in such a situation, there are others who seek out the heights. The higher the better.
These kind of people are the tower climbers, construction workers on tall buildings - and those who do stagecraft and maintenance at arenas around the world.

One of those stadiums is Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. As the 2024 Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL hockey team) season gets underway, staff from the arena took to TikTok to give a view from the catwalks high above the arena floor. The view shows two staffers on the secure, but intimidating catwalk.
Not surprisingly, the video elisited plenty of comments
