According to FOX 17, four different cruise lines port in Muskegon usually bring about 200 passengers per stop. These passengers go to many of the restaurants, shops, and museums that are within walking distance of the ships.  This also brings in revenue for the local businesses in Muskegon. Even some of the ships shop for supplies in Muskegon when running low on items needed for the ship and its passengers.
