More and more acts are slowly being announced for Frederik Meijer Gardens' annual summer concert series.

Monday is was revealed that pop rock band Counting Crows will be coming to the Gardens on July 21st.

The show is part of Counting Crows summer tour itinerary which was revealed on their website on Monday morning. The tour kicks off in Baltimore in May, and will have two stops in Michigan in July (Detroit and Grand Rapids).

The show is the sixth to be announced thus far by Frederik Meijer Gardens. Last week, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne announced his show scheduled for July 23rd. Prior to that, indie-rock group Tegan & Sara announced their June 28th stop at Meijer Gardens, and last month, Meijer Gardens confirmed three acts for the series: KC and the Sunshine Band July 24, Needtobreathe June 21, and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland July 19.

Ticket prices and a complete lineup for the series should be announced in mid-April. A ticket presale for members will take place starting at 9 a.m. April 26  and continue through May 9. The on-sale date for the general public will be May 10. Tickets will be available at the Gardens box office or online via Star Tickets. Service fees apply for Star Tickets purchases.
