Here’s What It Looks Like to Enter Michigan from Canada
Driving across an international border is likely not something travelers do every day. Perhaps for someone living in Detroit the approaches to Canada are a common enough occurrence to see - like Exit 47B from I-75 which is an exit to Canada only something that can and has tripped up wary drivers.
The flip trip from Canada to the US is likely not as common for Michigan drivers to see what it's like to approach the state from Canada.

There are four (soon to be five with the Gordie Howe Bridge) major highway crossings between Michigan and Ontario. Two in Detroit, the Ambassador Bridge and Windsor Tunnel, the Blue Water Bridge at Port Huron and the bridge at Sault Ste Marie.
Only one of these approaches is from a freeway, the Blue Water. For the rest it's surface streets and often a few winding turns.

That means lots of signs on roads to direct drivers looking to make the trip across the border - or to caution drivers where not to turn if they wish to stay in Canada.
