It's the biggest early season match-up on the young 2024 college football season - a Top 10 tilt between the Michigan Wolverines and the Texas Longhorns. The game is at Michigan Stadium, the Big House, so it's not surprising to have two preeminent pregame shows originating from Ann Arbor on Saturday Morning.

Both Fox's Big Noon Kickoff and ESPN's College Gameday were broadcasting live from Michigan's campus before the noon kickoff. But only Gameday had access to two particular Michigan students, Desmond Jr and Dhamir Howard, the sons of Michigan legend and Gameday panelist Desmond Howard.

Early on in the broadcast, reporter Jess Sims featured the Howard Twins, nicknamed Big Twin and Little Twin in a brief segment. The boys are currently freshmen just beginning their college careers.

Sims asked the boys what it means to be at their dad's alma mater. The twins shared that they live in their father's former dorm this season. Desmond Jr showed off some recent barbering work with the block M for Michigan shaved in above the neckline.

A screen-in-screen showed father Desmond nearing the end of the segment showing total joy and pride as his sons close out their TV time, "with something he always says, 'go Blue!'"

Stuff of legends

That’s such a cool full-circle moment! Must be special for Desmond Howard to see his sons experiencing the same campus life.

Great kids @DesmondHoward!
