Despite MLB Lockout, West Michigan Whitecaps set for Opening Day
Although the baseball hold out has been delaying the play of Major League Baseball, Minor league play is still set to begin on time.

The Major League Baseball lockout is the first work strike to hit MLB's regular season since the 1994-95 strike. And with the MLB on lockout, there might a chance that we might see a few Tigers come down and play this season.

The West Michigan Whitecaps, the High-A league Detroit Tigers Affiliate are set to play ball in 2022!
While speculation about when Major league play will start this year, the Whitecaps have taken this opportunity to confirm that they will start on time this year. Opening day for the West Michigan Whitecaps is April 12th, just over a month away.
