Detroit Man Steals Ambulance For What?

Hey sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the important things in life. A man in Oakland County made just such a sacrifice for his love.

That love is for frequenting strip clubs. WXYZ in Detroit tells his story.

"The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says a 51-year-old man stole an ambulance on Sunday to drive to a topless bar. The Pontiac man is in custody and expected to face auto theft charges for taking the Star EMS ambulance that was sitting outside of McLaren Hospital.
The attendants were taking a patient into the emergency room around 11 p.m. when the man hopped in and took off with the vehicle. The keys were apparently still inside."

The last line of the story speaks volumes.

"We're told the 51-year-old is homeless and suffers from mental health issues."
