Dog Found Wandering West Michigan Streets With a Note From Her Owner
A pet rescue in West Michigan is working to find the owner of a dog found wandering the streets with a heartbreaking note from her owner attached to her collar.
Ghost, an adorable 6-month-old coon hound, was found "hungry, cold, sad and confused" according to a Facebook post from Luvnpupz.
Attached to Ghost's collar was a note explaining how she came to be wandering the streets. Scrawled in red marker on recipe cards Ghost's owner explained,
I am lost and looking for a home - my owner had a stroke and can not care for me. Please don't take me to a shelter. I am a purebred coon hound. 6 months old. Please find home.
Luvnpupz says that they are trying to find Ghost's owner, and want to figure out if there is a way Ghost can stay with them if they have some support and assistance. If that's not possible, they say they will work to find Ghost a loving home.
