ESPN’s College Game Day Is Coming To East Lansing For The Game
There is a college football game this weekend. Did you hear? It's a big game. The undefeated Michigan State Spartans host the undefeated Wolverines of Michigan. ESPN's College Game day will be there too.
It will be College Game Day’s first trip to East Lansing since Michigan State’s win against Oregon on Sept. 12, 2015. It's also been since 2015 when the Wolverines and Spartans met in Ann Arbor on Oct. 17, 2015, that Kirk and the Crew have graced us with their presence in the state. The show will be broadcast live from Ralph Young Field next to Spartan Stadium.
Ever since ESPN's "College GameDay" preview show premiered for Notre Dame-Florida State in 1993, the pre-game show has traveled around the country at the top games each week. Ohio State has hosted the most times with 19.
Get your sign ready! Who will Lee Corso pick? And who is the guest picker? Will it be Jeff Daniels, Eminem, Madonna, Magic Johnson?
Michigan State and Michigan are the only undefeated teams left in the Big Ten. Michigan at Michigan State is the only matchup of top-10 teams on the schedule this week. This is also the first game both teams have been ranked in the Top 10 since 1964.
This is the first time in the 113-year history between these two state rivals that both teams are at least 7-0.
You can watch this weekend’s game live on FOX at noon on Saturday, October 30. No. 6 Michigan is favored by four over the No. 8 ranked Spartans.
