Every single person who attends the World Series this year between the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago Cubs will be sitting in a seat that was made right here in Grand Rapids.

All of the seats in both Wrigley Field and Progressive Field were made by American Seating. The company has been posting about it on their Facebook page in recent days, asking their fans who they think will win.

Wrigley seats 41,268 people, while Progressive holds 35,225. MLive reports that American Seating has been manufacturing the seats for Wrigley since 1914 (when it was called Weeghman Park), and the seats for Progressive Field since 1994 (when it was named Jacobs Field).

For the past 85 years, 90 percent of the World Series Champions have had American Seating chairs in their stadiums.
