Airplane Full of Detroit Lions Fans Shout Down Flight Attendant’s Messages During Critical Field Goal Attempt

Flying the friendly skies can sometimes be a tricky proposition. From the hurry up and wait to the occasionally unruliness and the occasional inhospitableness of fellow passengers, air travel ain't exactly a high luxury.

But sometimes there can be some fun involved as happened on a flight full of Detroit Lions fans during the team's epic Sunday Night Football come-from-behind victory.

The flight was inbound to the airport in Detroit on Sunday evening and the flight attendant, as they must do, was making final announcements. You know the ones: "Please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened as we make our final approach into Detroit where the local time is...and the temperature is...it's been our pleasure having you on board..." It's the kind of announcement the crew is required to make and you likely zone out to.

During those announcements when seemingly the entire fight had the game on their seat displays, Detroit kicker Jake Bates was lining up for the potential game-winning field goal. (Spoiler Alert: he makes it.)

Watch what happens from a passenger on the flight who uploaded video to social media which was shared by the NFL on X.

The attendant twice attempts to begin her speil and is hushed by the planeful and she offers a meek 'my apologies' as the entire flight watches with obvious bated breath for the kick.

The emotion is felt as the kick veers closer and closer to landing outside of the upright and then the explosion of relief and jubilation as the ball hangs inbounds as good for a Lions victory.

The video's uploader pulls back from the focus on the screen as the entire flight can been seen seemingly every seat-back screen tuned to the game.

It's just another special moment for during a special season for the Lions.
