Faygo and Vernors will forever be the two carbonated soda beverages associated with Michigan. So it might make you wonder why you don't see more soda fountains that carry Faygo. Is Faygo syrup even available for fountains?

The question came up recently on Reddit and the answer is an interesting little rabbit hole.

Is Faygo Available on Tap?

Short answer: Yes.

Slightly longer answer: Yes, but extremely limited in flavors and availability

Commenters on the Reddit thread mentioned Speedway or 7/11 locations with Red Pop and Rock n Rye Slurpee flavors. And a few restaurants have it as a fountain option.

It turns out that those limited locations where you can find Faygo on tap aren't home cooking or bootlegged flavors but a true product. However it's not made by Faygo or its corporate owner, National Beverage.

A company called Sunny Sky Products licenses Faygo for fountain use. They sell 2.5 gallon BIBs of the stuff. BIB is an industry term for bag-in-box, what you likely see if you ever watch a restaurant or convenience store worker change out a soda fountain.

The only two flavors produced are Rock n Rye and Red Pop for liquid soda.

Both of those iconic flavors as well as Blue Cotton Candy are also available to make frozen beverages like Slurpees.

So can you find Faygo, yes? Is it common? Seemingly, no.

However it is available so it may be worth asking your favorite restaurant or quick stop to get Faygo on tap. And if you do convenience them, you should also hit up Sunny Sky products and see if they'll spiff you on a commission/
