Free Ice Cream, Bottled Water, and Ice in Cedar Springs for Those Without Power

Following storms that swept through Saturday morning leaving thousands without power, potentially until Wednesday, Meijer and Consumers Energy are stepping up to help out those affected.

WZZM 13 reports that free bottled water, bags of ice, and ice cream will be handed out at the American Legion Cedar Springs Post on Monday, July 22 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Over the weekend, Consumers and Meijer handed out supplies in Jenison and Grand Rapids as well.

The Cedar Springs American Legion is located at  91 South 1st Street.
