GR Man Killed In Snowmobile Accident Up North

A Grand Rapids man died after being involved in a snowmobile accident near Cadillac.

Police in Wexford County say the incident occurred at around 1:00pm Sunday in Boon Township just west of the city of Cadillac. 

The man's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, he was 28 years old. Authorities say the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, which happened on Trail 3715.

No other information was released.
