One of my favorite restaurants is The Kitchen Wolfgang Puck. With a great view of some rapids on the Grand River. And a great happy hour that featured Wolfgang Puck signature wine at great prices.

CLOSED - The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck has suspended operations until further notice. When they re-open you'll have to try their "Kung Pao" Lettuce Wraps some of the best I've ever had...especially for GR. Next door The Kitchen Counter is open for take out.

LEO's Seafood Restaurant and Bar. A premier destination since 2004. Their location Ottawa NW is right across from the GRAM and close to a lot of the damage from the protests.

OPEN: Leo's Seafood Restaurant and Bar did have some broken windows, but was lucky they did not suffer any major damage during the protests are open for business. They were one of the first to have new windows installed. Safety first they will ask you a few questions and take your temperature before entry. Dining Room and Bar is open with social distancing. Join them for Leo's Happy Hour in the Bar and Lounge from 3:30 to 5:30pm for 1/2 off all app's, $4 Drafts, $5 Select Cocktails and $6 glasses of wine. Also Try the Corn and Salmon Chowder, their AHI Tuna app is also spectacular. Love their Walleye and this week fresh wild Alaskan Salmon and Soft Shell Crabs.

ELI's Downtown Mobile Gas Station on corner of Cherry and Market.

OPEN - Don't let the wood on the entrance door fool you 0 they are open. ELI's Downtown Mobile Gas Station on corner of Cherry and Market is one of the only gas stations downtown and they offer soft drinks, snacks and Michigan Lottery Tickets, but not Alcohol Sales.

Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant on Monroe Center St, NW

OPEN: Even after they had their windows broken out from the protest Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant is OPEN on Monroe Center St, NW. Including outside dining. Try their build your own tacos. You have to love their spirit to keep going after what happened.

THE CHOP HOUSE on Monroe

OPEN - THE CHOP HOUSE - That was an easy one from the picture. One of the other great restaurants downtown across from the Pantlind Hotel side of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Offering USDA Steaks and seafood too.
