Less Traveled from Long Road Distillers Now Open on Cherry St.

Back in February we told you that Long Road Distillers was planning a new tasting room in the East Hills neighborhood on Wealthy St. -- Less Traveled is now open for business!

The new cocktail bar is located at 959 Cherry Street SE next to the store Gemini Handmade.

Long Road Distillers' co-owner Kyle Van Strien told Wood TV 8,

It’s a great neighborhood, we’ve always loved that district. (It has) lots of other businesses that we’re friends with and it’s on the other side of town from where our … (original) location is.

Long Road's original location opened at 537 Leonard S. NW  in 2015. Since then, the business has opened tasting rooms in Grand Haven, Charlevoix, and Cadillac - and won numerous awards for its spirits.

Long Road says of its new establishment,

Our journey began on the other side of the river, with locally grown ingredients and time-honored know-how.

Now, join us on Cherry Street to enjoy our spirits and these cocktails from the road less taken.

Less Traveled is open Tuesday through Friday 4p.m. to 11p.m. and Saturday 12p.m. to 11p.m.

According to Wood TV 8, there's room inside for about 35, and that patio I was talking about? It has room for 45!
