The Hunt Is On: The Grand Rapids Community Easter Egg Hunt
Easter also called Resurrection Sunday is one of the most important days in the Christian faith commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead according to the New Testament. Easter is on Sunday, April 17.
Is There A Grand Rapids Easter Egg Hunt?
The Grand Rapids Community Easter Egg Hunt & Free Fun Day is free to attend with plenty of fun to experience. The event will be at Highland Park in Grand Rapids on Sunday, April 17 from noon to 4 pm. (The rain date is slated for April 24).
What Will Be Happening At The Egg Hunt?
The Easter Bunny will be present, plus the egg hunt will feature yard games such as corn hole, giant Jenga, giant checkers & tic tac toe, giant Connect 4, giant Dominoes, and Kan Jam.
The Kool Breeze Food Truck will offer a variety of food, snacks, desserts, and drinks. The egg hunters can also partake in face painting, soccer fun with Soccer Shots, coloring sheets, and there will be Easter basket giveaways.
More Information About The Hunt:
There will be 3 Egg hunt fields and they will be divided into specific age groups. Hunters will enjoy scavenging over 3,000 eggs from 1 pm to 2 pm. At 2 pm to 3:30 pm, Fire Engine #11 will be present as long as the truck is not needed for an emergency.
On-site free parking is available and you should bring a bag, basket, or container for your egg hunt participants. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available at the entrance.
