The Grand Rapids Police Department are searching for a bank robbery suspect who robbed a the Fifth Third Bank at near the intersection of Michigan St. and Fuller Ave. Monday morning.

During the robbery, the suspect implied that he had a weapon, but no one actually saw a gun. The suspect fled the bank on foot. K-9 officers attempted to track the suspect, but he has yet to be found.

The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 35 and 55 who was last seen wearing a tan hat, gray sweatshirt, and light colored pants.

Anyone with information that could further the investigation or that recognizes this man is asked to contact the GRPD at 616-456-3400 or submit an anonymous tip on silentobserver.org.
