Sports World Speculates Again Harbaugh Is Leaving Michigan for NFL

It could be a movie. A sports drama. The Jim Harbaugh Story. And the script just received another plot twist from the writers. In this case, the writers are the hosts of a podcast.

On the latest episode of the “Move The Sticks” podcast, Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah discussed why Harbaugh would make a lot of sense for the Las Vegas Raiders. Brooks said,

"If you’re Jim Harbaugh, you’ve parlayed a pay cut and having your contract reduced into a major payday – either at Michigan, or being able to flex and go to the National Football League where you were very successful.”

This isn't the first time this idea of Harbaugh returning to the NFL has been floated. This article from The Score, written a year ago, states,

"The Michigan head coach is believed to be eyeing an NFL return."

Harbaugh hasn't coached for the NFL since 2014, but there’s always some chatter about him potentially leaving Michigan for the NFL. According to Sports Illustrated, this time it seems the concept has some legs.

As reported by The Spun, Harbaugh had a 44-19-1 record during his four-year stint with the San Francisco 49ers. He led the franchise to a Super Bowl appearance in 2012.

Harbaugh is currently focused on leading Michigan to a national title, however, some football fans, are all in on the idea of Harbaugh returning to the NFL.

ESPN reports The Raiders are not going to request interviews with potential head-coaching candidates until after the regular season.

Michigan Armchair Quarterback disagrees with the notion.
