Have You Booked Your Stay At These PBR Themed Motel Rooms in Traverse City?
Nostalgia is king these days, so it's not shocking to see yet another throwback trend. But this one, we can easily drink to.
Do you remember the 1983 Pabst Blue Ribbon Commercial starring Seinfeld star Jason Alexander with the tagline “Pabst is the place!”? Well, Pabst decided nearly 40 years later to finally make 'the place', and they invite you to stay the night.
They have three rooms available, based on different themes around PBR and everything retro. There are three rooms with specific themes based on which place feels like "your Pabst place".
One room is titled "the arcade room", and it has the feel of your favorite 80s Mall arcade.
... Down to the ticket prices for things located on the wall of the bathroom. (make sure you get 10 tickets before you use the brush)
There's also the Rec Room which feels like a lived in living room that you spent some time in back in the day, but you can't quite remember whose home it is.
Seriously, I know I've watched TV here before...
And the final room, which is already sold out, is by far my personal favorite: The Dive Bar room.
It's EXACTLY what you imagine when you think of a PBR themed room, down to the blue colors and jukebox in the corner. And, it's pretty epic.
Where is 'The Pabst Place' located?
Located conveniently right off M-37, You can find this Motel right in the heart of Traverse City.
How can I book my stay?
You can book your stay directly on the Grand Traverse Hotel website, but one room is currently sold out so you'll want to grab your bookings soon before the other two are sold out, too. However, keep your eyes peeled, maybe they will open more reservations up in the near future based on the room's popularity.
Book your stay, and don't forget to enjoy a PBR to really get the full vibes of the experience.
