The 16-year-old girl was reported missing by her parents to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky on Tuesday, November 2nd.

A few days later on Thursday, November 4th an alert motorist recognized the teen's hand signal for help and called 911.

The woman followed the vehicle while police caught up with them and eventually the police pulled the vehicle over and ended up saving the young girl.

Police arrested 61-year-old James Herbert Brick, of Cherokee, North Carolina, and charged him with unlawful imprisonment and possession of a matter of sex performance by a minor (over 12 but under 18).
