Interactive Jim Henson Exhibit Coming to Two Michigan Cities
If you're a fan of Jim Henson and grew up with his work, you can relive your childhood at the traveling exhibition coming to Michigan.
People can view "The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited" at its permanent home in New York City but Michigan is one of the lucky states that it will be at later this summer.
It will be inside The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn from Saturday June 5th to Monday, September 6th.

The exhibit includes puppets and artifacts that were donated by the Jim Henson Legacy, a nonprofit organization, and the Jim Henson Company. Visitors will get to see how some of his famous shows were incepted like Sesame Street, The Muppets, and The Dark Crystal just to name a few.
A press release from Henry Ford Museum says there will be puppets, storyboards, actual scripts, costumes from the movie Labyrinth, plus much more including an interactive area where people can design their own muppet and puppeteer. In addition,
The exhibition prominently features an exploration of The Muppet Show (1976-1981) from a concept Henson first developed in the early 1960s to an internationally beloved series.
The Jim Henson Exhibition will be included with the price of admission.
In case you happen to miss the one in Dearborn, don't be bummed out because it's nexts stop is Grand Rapids! You will have to wait a year, though... The exhibit will set up shop at the Grand Rapids Art Museum from September 17, 2022 to January 2, 2023.
