Are the Jared Goff Chants Getting Out of Hand?
It seems you can't go anywhere these days without a Jared Goff chant breaking out, but are they getting out of hand?
Jared Goff Chant
It didn't take long for Detroit Lions fans to get behind quarterback Jared Goff when they traded Mathew Stafford. The team in 2022 didn't do that well but the fans and players both could see Goff is the guy.

One of the things I like most about Jared Goff is he never seeks the limelight and is always a team player. The one week where Goff threw a perfect game against the Seattle Seahawks and coach Dan Campbell didn't realize it and didn't give him a game ball (Campbell does have remorse about that historical moment), Goff rooted on his team members who did get one.
If you are oblivious to the Jared Goff chant watch the video above. This chant is not only happening in Detroit but also at away games, airplanes, Detroit Redwings games, concerts, Detroit Pistons games, and recently one broke out at a Grand Rapids Griffins game on New Years Eve.

Are the Jared Goff Chants Getting Out of Hand?
Is is possible some people are getting tired of the Jared Goff chants? When I was watching the Grand Rapids Griffins on New Years Eve, they scored 4 goals in the first period and the crowd went wild, but later in the game a Jared Goff chant started going and it was the loudest point for the crowd in the entire game which they won 5-1 over the Cleveland Monsters.
Ashton Trainer is an NBA player development coach working out of Arlington, Texas, and apparently he's the guy to go public about not liking the Jared Goff chants at Detroit Pistons games. Ashton made the post at 8:39 p.m. on January 4th.
An X poster from Detroit quickly fired back calling out Ashtons Texas roots.
Then at 9:23 p.m. on January 4th Ashton posted about loving the "MVP" chants for Detroit Piston Cade Cunningham which I agree is more suiting seeing how its a home game at Little Caesars Arena.
Then a Pistons fan jumps in to alert Ashton of his displeasure with the fans at the LCA.
Then at 9:19 p.m. on January 6th Ashton seemed to come around with the Jared Goff chant but it was this post that seemed show more support for his original post about not liking the chants at LCA.
As you can see other Pistons fans are not thrilled about the Jared Goff chants.
Here's is a note to Ashton and anyone else who doesn't like the Jared Goff chants...DON'T RAIN ON THE DETROIT LIONS PARADE! Yes I thought it was weird to get a Jared Goff chant at a Griffins game, yes it was weird to hear one at the Creed concert, but you know what? The fans and I enjoyed just like we did when we heard it in Dallas, Indianapolis, and every other away game this season. GO LIONS!
