Well, Cheapism went on a hunt to find the most affordable restaurants in each state that are also serving up yummy food.

To determine the list, Cheapism checked out reviews from TripAdvisor, Yelp, and Zomato, and recommendations from local newspapers and magazines. The restaurants are a mix long-standing institutions and newer joints, each offering up a delicious meal  meal option for $15 or less, excluding tax and tip.

It's Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger in Ann Arbor!

Billed as Ann Arbor's oldest hamburger joint, Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger first opened in 1953.

On the menu you'll find a huge selection of burgers, which start at just over $3. With tons of sides, soups, and sandwiches, there are so many combinations you could come up with for less than $15!

A five minute drive from campus, it's a favorite of University of Michigan students and visitors alike - including Guy Fieri! In 2008 he visited the Burger Joint on his Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives."

Fieri returned to Krazy Jim's in 2021 to film and the episode aired in April of 2022.

Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger has been praised by the likes of Thrillist, GQ, Eater Detroit, and MLive.
