Two Michigan Sculpture Parks Voted Among Ten Best in U.S. – One Even Takes Top Spot!

If you've visited, you know how awesome Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park is. There are art and nature exhibits all year long, hundreds of sculptures, plus their Summer Concert Series.

Well, Frederik Meijer Gardens is being nationally recognized (again!)!

The park has been ranked the No. 1 "Best Sculpture Park in America" in a USA Today and 10Best readers poll. What a testament to the park's commitment to artistic and horticultural excellence, innovation, and providing an exceptional visitor experience!

The 20 sculpture parks in the running were chosen by a panel of experts and then the top ten ultimately decided by a public vote.

Spanning 158 acres in Grand Rapids, the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park features outdoor gardens and a five-floor, 15,000-square-foot Tropical Conservatory. The permanent sculpture collection features more than 200 works, many of which are displayed across the 30-acre sculpture park.

Another Michigan sculpture park also made the Top Ten!

Michigan Legacy Art Park in Thompsonville came in at No. 5 in the ranking.
