At 94, Michigan Woman Reaches 150 MPH in Ferrari Adventure
There are few things worse than getting stuck driving behind a slow driver. We all have places to be and when someone is going well below the speed limit and you can't get past, it's enough to make you wanna tear your hair out. Stereotypically, these drivers tend to be on the older side of life.
One 94-year-old woman from Novi, however, is proving that you're never too old to burn some serious rubber at the Michigan International Speedway.

Donna Maddox The Speed Demon
People always say that your younger years are the best of your life and that you can do anything. The older we get, though, the more our dreams get sacrificed for our everyday lives. But Donna Maddox at the age of 95 has always been an adventurous spirit, and she won't let her age stop her from living.
Donna lives at Waltonwood Twelve Oaks, an assisted living community in Novi that has a program called the Adventure program which aims to provide residents with opportunities to "make their dreams come true". Donna's dream? To ride in a Ferrari and go very fast. That's exactly what she did, riding with a professional driver. She hit 150mph at Michigan's International Speedway.
She doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon, either. Donna already has plans to ride on a motorcycle, go in a hot air balloon, and even wants to go skydiving. She wants her story to be a reminder to people that "if they're alive, they should live."
