After more than four years in business, The 12th House will be closing its doors soon. Owner Sarah Cash shared the news on Facebook, citing economic struggles along with health issues. She says shutting the shop has been one of the hardest decisions she's ever had to make:
I wanted to share something tender and real — after more than four years of creating, connecting, and collaborating with this incredible community, The 12th House GR will be closing its physical location December 23, 2025... For years, I’ve poured my heart into keeping this little shop open — doing my best to hold space for the community while managing nearly everything on my own... I’ve done my best to make The 12th House a place where people felt seen, safe, and inspired. But the truth is, it’s hard to keep a space like this going with very little help. Between rising costs, ongoing health challenges, and the realities of sustaining a small creative business, I’ve reached a point where I need to step back — to rest, to heal, and to allow The 12th House to evolve into whatever comes next.
Cash talked more about the closure in a Facebook reel as well and shared with Wood-TV 8 that foot traffic to the store has reduced dramatically over the past year and a half.
