
Grand Rapids Wine Bar And Restaurant Closes For Good
After six years in business, a wine bar, restaurant, and retail shop downtown Grand Rapids has closed its doors.
It's a real bummer to see another Grand Rapids business shut down. In recent months we've said goodbye to Creston Brewery, Black Rock Bar and Grill, TGI Fridays, and more.

Now, House of Wine has announced its closure. Father and daughter team Jim and Emily Lynch first opened the wine bar at 53 Monroe Center NW in December of 2018. Since then the business had grown to include wines from all over the world, cocktails, beer, and food.

House of Wine served small plates like build your own charcuterie boards, bruschetta, dips, and paninis. The restaurant also hosted wine tastings and other events.
The owners shared about House of Wine's closure to Facebook, saying,
"It with heavy hearts and deep gratitude that we share the news that House of Wine has closed it's doors... We've had the incredible honor of serving this community since 2018... What began a s a dream grew into something much bigger than we could have ever imagined. House of Wine became a gathering place, a space to connect, to unwind, and to share in life's big and little moment.

They thank their loyal guests, supportive neighbors, musicians, vendors, and everyone who supported house of wine.
