Grand Rapids’ Indian Trails Golf Course Opens for Winter Activities
Well, here's a positive to all the snow that's been getting dumped on us!
Grand Rapids' Indian Trails Golf course is opening for winter activities on Dec. 19, 2022.
Winter Activities Are Back Indian Trails Golf Course
The City of Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department and Indian Trails Golf course shared to Facebook over the weekend that winter activities are back for the 2022-2023 season.
Exciting news! The recent snowfall has given us enough to start grooming trails for winter activities. Starting tomorrow (12/19) we'll be open daily for snowshoeing, fat tire biking, and cross country skiing.
New this year: Daily clubhouse hours with Indian Trails' usual food and beverage menu.
The clubhouse is open Monday through Wednesday 9a.m. to 5p.m, Thursday and Friday noon to 8p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9a.m. to 50p.m.
The clubhouse will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but the gates will be open.
Trails are open daily from 8a.m. to 8p.m, weather permitting. If you’re visiting outside of clubhouse hours, you’ll need to bring your own equipment.
Cross Country Skiing
- Visitors will need to bring their own ski equipment.
- 2-mile cross country ski and snowshoe loop.
Snowshoeing at Indian Trails Golf Course
- Snowshoe rentals are available during clubhouse hours for $3.
- They can accommodate a full range of shoe sizes, from toddlers to adults up to 200 lbs.
- 2-mile cross country ski and snowshoe loop.
Fat Tire Bike Rentals
- Fat tire bike rentals are available during clubhouse hours for $20
- They can accommodate riders from 5’1″ to 6’4″.
- Fat tire bike loop is 3.7-miles
A day pass for the trails is $3 and a season pass is $15.
