Michigan Couple Pull Off Incredible Feat At Detroit Marathon
I am not a runner. The farthest I ever ran at once was a half-marathon in high school, and I have hardly run since then. My dad, however, has run multiple marathons and runs nearly daily. I have no desire to do that, but hearing about people who do run these insane distances never ceases to amaze me.
So when you hear a story about a husband and wife winning the Men's and Women's individual categories of a marathon is nothing short of impressive and inspiring.

Winning this marathon was the ultimate comeback story for both Andy and Sydney. Andy failed to finish the Olympic Trails last year, while Sydney was running her first race after sitting out for two years to recover from injuries that nearly killed her"passion for running".
While the story of Andy and Sydney is heartwarming, there was a shocking and sad moment that happened at the start of the race. A 57-year-old man collapsed and died at the 5-mile mark of the race. No other details were provided, but it is an unusual and sad event.
