Michigan’s Favorite McDonald’s Menu Item Is BACK

A friend of mine has a running joke where she fakes breaking news only to excitedly announce that the McRib is back (despite it not being McRib season). As dumb as it is, it never ceases to make me laugh. To this day, I'm not sure if anyone is really a fan of the McRib or if it has just survived through pop culture.

I have not personally had the McRib, and I hear it's generally just...fine. Either way, people continue to be very excited when the McRib returns, and this year, McDonald's is going all out to celebrate the return fan-favorite pork sandwich.

McRib Season

If you're a fan of the McRib, and more importantly its signature sauce, then this McRib Season was made for you. Starting December 3rd, the McRib will be returning to select locations. This year, however, marks a special opportunity because Michiganders who can't get enough of the sauce will be able to purchase a whole tub of it, online, for $19.99. 

The McRib joins a growing number of limited-time specials that McDonald's has done this year after reporting its biggest sales decline in four years. The Chicken BigMac and the $5 Meal Deal have both debuted this year and have proven to be winners for Ronald McDonald, with the $5 Meal Deal being ended until the end of the year.
