Snowden Sunset Lanes in Allegan is on the market.
After initially announcing its permanent closure in 2021, it seems the bowling alley has stayed open.
A post to Facebook in June of 2021 read,
So rumors can be stopped. We are officially closing. Thank you to all the bowlers that have supported us through the last 14 years. It has been an interesting venture to say the least. We just couldn't recover after being shut down for most of our season. Best wishes to all. From the Snowdens, Thank you.
However, it appears the Snowdens did decide to reopen for the fall 2021 season, and the bowling alley has been in operation since.
According to the listing on Facebook Marketplace, the Snowdens are motivated to sell and willing to accept reasonable offers.
The business is for sale for $375,900.
Snowden Sunset Lanes has 14 bowling lanes along with a small kitchen, including self-contained fryer, pizza oven, prep table, and more.
The business has a tavern license, three keg kegerater, and multiple coolers.
There's also a two bedroom apartment in the basement that currently being used for storage but can be updated.
Established leagues bowl at Snowden Sunset Lanes and two high schools use the facility as their home base. There's also glow bowling!
The listing describes the bowling alley as "turnkey" and "really the only entertainment center within 20 miles."
