Detroit Pistons Streak Hits 11 Wins: How Close Are They to the All-Time Franchise Record?
I'm not a huge basketball fan, but today I read a cool stat that said the Detroit Pistons are now on an 11 game winning streak.

This winning streak is the longest the team's had in 18 years.
During this winning streak they've beaten the following teams.
- Orlando Magic
- Dallas Mavericks
- Memphis Grizzlies
- Utah Jazz
- Brooklyn Nets
- Philadelphia 76ers
- Washington Wizards
- Chicago Bulls
- Philadelphia 76ers
- Indiana Pacers
- Atlanta Hawks
Hearing this piqued my interest into what is the teams longest winning streak.

Turns out that the team's longest winning streak is 13 games and it's happened twice.
The first time was in the 1989-90 season with coach Chuck Daly, and the 'Bad Boys' roster, including Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Bill Laimbeer, and Dennis Rodman.
The second streak happened in the 2003-04 season with coach Larry Brown, and star players like Ben Wallace, Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, and Tayshaun Prince.

While it's still early in the season, it's fun to think about how cool would it be if this team has something special in them like the other two teams that tied the longest winning streak.
Currently the Detroit Pistons are sitting in 1st place of the Eastern Conference with a record of 13-2.
Their next chance to extend the winning streak is coming up on Saturday November 22nd in Milwaukee when they take on the Bucks who have an 8-7 record so far this season.
