Michigan Father Goes Viral With Adorable Football Game Shout Outs
There's no love like a fathers love. Dad's are the first to make a joke at our expense, to teach us those valuable life lessons about our cars and budgets, and their love (when they do choose to show it) is one of the the sweetest thing you could ever experience.
My own father passed away in 2019, but he always found adorable ways to let me know he cared that weren't with words. As a single dad, he was a little softer towards me than he was towards anyone else, but he would do things like putting a smiley face in my sandwich he packed in my lunch.
And this Rochester Hills Dad is another one of those fathers who isn't afraid to show his kids that he cares. His daughter, who goes by the tik tok handle @jamie1678 posted what she called "the end of the era", which was a compilation of shout outs from her father over the PA at the high school football games he calls.
From the context I was able to gather from her account, he is the PA announcer at Rochester Adams High School, and he makes little jokes about how he hopes she gets home in time for curfew
But the last clip, she covers her face in absolute awe when he celebrates her final game of the year with everyone else at the end of the game.
You can tell this dad really loves his daughter in his own way, all jokes aside. And the internet loves it, because she currently has over 2 million views on her video posted over the weekend.
So here's to all the Dads who show their love in their own special way, and the kids who don't think it's too cringe to share with the rest of us.
