It's well known that people have a strong opinion about Chipotle charging extra when it comes to quacamole. However, a Michigan man made his opinion well known when it comes to paying extra for his favorite part of his burrito bowl.

Friday evening (April 5th, 2023) at the Chipotle Location on Evergreen Road in Southfield, Michigan things got heated when it came to someone's dinner order. The air was filled with tension as an argument over guacamole escalated into a violent encounter.

Around 7:00 p.m., a dispute erupted between a customer and an employee over the beloved avocado-based topping. The disagreement took a dangerous turn, when the customer pulled out a firearm and shot the 21-year-old Chipotle employee in the leg. The entire thing was caught on film by someone who was there eating dinner.

Thankfully, the victim, although injured, was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. The injury is serious, but has been deemed non-life-threatening, so thankfully everyone here walked away this time.

Authorities were quick to respond, tracking down the suspected shooter—a 31-year-old man from Detroit—who attempted to flee but was apprehended shortly after leaving the scene.
