You can participate in county and local clean-up events across Michigan to responsibly dispose of your unwanted items from your garage, basement, or closet. Here are the upcoming events in April and May:

Allegan Township
April 20 & May 18
Location: 128 Franklin St, Allegan
Time: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location 2: Allegan Township Hall on 118th Ave, Allegan
Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Calhoun County
Date: April 22
Location: Bailey Park on Capital Ave, Battle Creek
Time: Noon - 5:30 p.m.

Dates: April 19 & 20
Location: Curbside pick-up within city limits
All items must be on the curb the evening of April 18 for residents south of M89 or April 19 for those who live north of M89.

Grand Rapids
the city of Grand Rapids doesn't have a specific junk removal day. Instead, you can buy a bulk removal tag and request a collection date online year round.

Village of Hopkins
Date: May 18
Location: 128 Franklin St
Time: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

The city of Kalamazoo already had their bulk drop off days for Spring 2024, however they will have another quarterly drop off in June, so keep an eye on their page for future details.

City of Wyoming
Date: April 20
Location: Grand Rapids First Church, Grand Rapids
Time: 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
