Where will Janet Jackson Be In Michigan On Her Upcoming Tour?
When legends pop up in Michigan, you know I get excited.
When you think of a legend, who do you think of?
Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyonce, Freddie Mercury...that's just to name a few.
What if I told you that a legend was coming to Michigan?
Global icon, Janet Jackson, officially announced that she will be going on a tour across North America.
You know Miss Jackson (if you're nasty) will be making a much-needed tour in Michigan.
Titled the "Together Again" tour, this will be Janet Jackson's first tour in four years.
Plus, this tour will be celebrating her 50th year in the industry!
YES! 50 YEARS!
This also marks Jackson's 30th anniversary of her album janet and the 25th anniversary of her album, "The Velvet Rope."
To make this even bigger and better news, Janet Jackson is not going on tour alone. She is bringing Ludacris along for the ride.
The "Together Again" tour is making its way to Detroit, Michigan on May 24th at Little Caesar Arena.
It quite literally irritates me that Detroit gets all of the fun when it comes to iconic artists coming to the Mitten State.
Detroit is not the only fun city in the state of Michigan.
Grand Rapids should always be on the map for people's tours.
Plus, Janet is not a stranger to Grand Rapids. Back in 2017, she graced Van Andel with her stellar voice and choreo.
She might avoid our city because of her marrying James DeBarge...but I still am putting out a petition for a Grand Rapids tour stop.
However, enough of my bashing, just know I will be in attendance for this legendary night.
