👇 BELOW: FIND BIGGEST SCAMS TODAY AND HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF👇
It is absolutely very difficult to tell the difference between a normal, legit phone call and a scammer or artificial intelligence trying to find us. Heavens, my car warranty is expiring! NOT!
What is one to do? Ignore them and DO NOT ANSWER, PERIOD!
Many times my phone will say "probably SCAM," and I never answer if I don't know the number. If it's legit they will leave a message. And even then if they do, you'll know right away if it's a phony.
Our sister station, KLIX News Radio, reported Scam calls cost victims around $30 billion each year. Don’t answer numbers you don’t know and don’t click links in text messages from unknown senders. You can check unknown numbers against a database of known scam numbers online and you can put your phone on do-not-call lists.
Sadly there is no guarantee that this will solve the problem because some of the area codes are now coming from inside the United States. Ugh!
