Children in foster care sure don't have an easy life. They have been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse, and for their own protection. But typically they may move to several different foster homes during their young lives. The Grand Rapids Public Museum recognizes the plight of these children and wants to give them a warm, loving and exciting experience absolutely FREE!

Foster Care Month is a time to celebrate and recognize those hero families who open their hearts and homes to children in need of foster care. It is a time to raise awareness about the urgent need for foster parents and the importance of supporting children and families who are impacted by the foster care system.

So how can you help? The Museum is asking for your support. A donation of $10 will provide one ticket for a child in foster care and their family. Donations can be made through the Museum's special website at grpm.org/supportchildren, and all funds will go directly towards sponsoring tickets for children and their families.
