Honestly, it may be cheaper to go for those canned goods than to buy them fresh at times. Where you'd probably be spending $3-6 on the product itself, the canned version is probably a few dollars cheaper.

With that being said, though, there is a major canned food recall currently hitting us here in the state of Michigan.
Warning: Popular Canned Goods Being Recalled in Michigan
Before you get ready to eat anything straight from the can, you should be aware the the Vietti Food Group had issued a recall on over 4,515 cases of their 15-ounce Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses-Baked Beans.
The products were sent to many states and sold at stores such as Meijer and Walmart. The products would have a best by date of February 17, 2028, printed on the side of it. The product's UPC number is: 0 71859 04015 6.

The recall was initiated due to a lack of declaring soy being found inside the product, which could be serious for those who have a soy allergy. No illnesses have been reported at this time, following the product recall.
