If you’ve crossed the Mackinac Bridge and rolled into St. Ignace, chances are good you’ve stopped in to eat at this popular restaurant.

Once you pass over Michigan's Mackinac Bridge, there are several restaurants to choose from, but there's one that residents and visitors claim is the most popular and quite possibly the best.

Now, there's no way to know for sure if this restaurant is the most popular in St. Ignace without a full-blown data comparison to other restaurants in the area. We're definitely not diving that deep into things here, but based on what people on social media say, I'd say it's a safe bet.

What is the Most Popular Restaurant in St. Ignace?

Someone on Facebook posted the other day that Clyde's Drive-In is arguably the most popular restaurant in St. Ignace. People quickly chimed in to express how much they love it, with some even going so far as to say it has the best burgers in Michigan.

Clyde's Drive-In is a small seasonal restaurant in St. Ignace that offers outdoor seating and curbside pickup. They have a tasty-looking menu that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Residents in St. Ignace have a hard time going all winter without getting their Clyde’s fix, so to remedy that, the restaurant usually opens for a few days during the winter, allowing customers to come and get their favorite meals during the off-season.

While we don’t know for sure if Clyde’s Drive-In is ‘the most popular restaurant’ after you cross the Mackinac Bridge, we do know that people love it.

When I cross the bridge I hold out and shoot over to Cedarville to grab a bite at Snow's Bar & Grill. We stop there even if it's out of the way, it's so worth it.
