Detroit Siblings Spark National Attention For Sleeping Outside

Two Detroit siblings have garnered national attention for sleeping outside on a porch.

The brothers have been doing this by choice for months. Yes, you read that right. The young men were sleeping outside on their front porch by choice.

According to the New York Post, Detroit police investigated the situation earlier this month after neighbors complained.

Where are the parents of the teen brothers? The parents of the 12-year-old and 15-year-old told police they had tried to get the boys to sleep inside, but they refused.

The pair tell anyone who has questioned them about their sleeping arrangements that it is their choice to sleep outside. Whether it was warm or cold, the brothers continued to sleep outside.

That is until recently, reports indicate the young men are now staying and sleeping inside at the home of a family friend.

The entire situation is very bizarre. Authorities did of course question the parents, and no charges were filed. From all accounts, they did attempt to get boys to sleep indoors.
